This past weekend at The Shop was pretty interesting! A few months ago, we had been contacted by a producer with Supercar Blondie, one of the world’s largest automotive YouTuber’s about the TMC 12-X, our Tesla Time Machine. Apparently they had seen it online and wished to feature it on their channel and wanted us to send them a few videos about it. After chatting for a bit and talking about some of our other builds with them, they decided that they wanted to send a film crew to us and shoot both the Tesla Time Machine as well as Nemesis, our Resident Evil themed Dodge Charger here at The Shop!
Needless to say we thought it was pretty cool that Blondie who usually jet sets around the world in exotic locales filming multi-million-dollar hypercars wanted to come check out some of our custom builds here at The Shop, so of course we said yes!We decided that we would get a few of our other vehicles on site for the shoot including Madcat, our Mad Max inspired Hellcat Interceptor as well as our latest build, MFP #508, our crazy Mad Max inspired Pursuit sedan built on a Chrysler 300SRT that had been modified with a wild MFP themed paint scheme like the original movie car, a Veilside VIP widebody kit and a highly modified, 1000hp Whipplecharged 6.4 hemi.

To commemorate the day, we asked the crew from StaticVision to stop by and do some filming of our own and even Tesla Bay TV came in to get some awesome drone footage. Along with our own vehicles, we had a fantastic selection of cars on hand including SJ’s DeLorean DMC-12, Nicole’s C7 Z06 Corvette and Mike’s Nissan R32 GTR. It made for a long day of filming, but we all had a great time. After countless passes with the Tesla (and completely emptying the fuel tank for its flamethrowers!) as well as plenty of firing of the minigun turret atop Nemesis’s roof, I’m pretty sure we ended up with some great footage, much of which is forthcoming, but some can presently be seen here and here.
Now if you have an awesome car or truck that you are looking for some custom paint or body work completed on, or even just need some basic repair or an estimate for some auto body, paint or collision repair to just a normal everyday car, don’t hesitate to give us a call at The Shop! Sure, we love working on crazy things that go fast and shoot flames, but we take pride in every job we do no matter how big or how small. Feel free to stop by and visit The Shop in Bradenton anytime and either check out some of our projects or bring by one of your own!
